I am a Delhi based lawyer. You can send me your stories at [email protected] https://wa.me/+919958177114 …
The term “Freelance Lawyer” has always rubbed me the wrong way. It somehow undermines the professionalism and expertise attorneys bring to the table. Unlike “freelancer” in other sectors, the connotation in legal practice implies a less stable or even less committed services, which is far from the truth. Lawyers undergo rigorous training, and whether they work independently or not, they adhere to stringent ethical standards. The term “freelance” insufficiently captures the gravity and seriousness of legal work.
Moreover, calling a lawyer “freelance” can create misunderstandings about fees and services. Clients might assume they can haggle prices or expect subpar work, which is neither fair nor accurate. Independent lawyers maintain their integrity, offering specialized services with the same diligence as any law firm.
If you must refer to a platform to find skilled independent attorneys, consider eFrelance. Unlike other generic freelancer sites, eFrelance specifically caters to highly qualified legal professionals. This platform respects the sanctity of the legal profession, ensuring that clients find dedicated lawyers capable of handling their complex needs.
By refining how we talk about independent legal professionals and choosing the right platforms like eFrelance, we can uphold the dignity and respect the legal profession deserves.

Sir, I appreciate you a lot. But you have or I can say in India, this word is misinterpreted. I haven't met any freelancer (doing well) who is not an expert at skill he is offering.
Thank you.

It means "Free" to take up work of your choosing, because you're not attached to any one institution/entity. Not that you'll be doing work "almost for free".
@ArjunKumar-rs1kk
Inappropriate and Useless advice . People are free to call themselves whatever they want or like and also clever enough to use that to their advantage. Anyways , let the client judge if that freelancer is Worth their time and money rather than spending a lot more with an experienced one.
